The Mt Blue Voices sang this weekend and they were great! It is so good seeing people fill into our beautiful church house all lit up at night. What a way to spend an evening, thank you everyone!

I’ve booked Taylor’s Grove for April 28th and Borderline Express for June 16th. Now I just need a band for May.
I wish I had a set of
Perpendicular blinders,
A way to block the future
And focus on the present.
My mind wanders off
Into the future,
While my body lingers here
In the present.
Fear, elation or other emotions
Might await me,
But right now I feel them
Whether real or not.
I know I can’t see the future,
Only the now,
But my mind tries to look
Ahead, always.

March 24th, 2012 Mark Phillips will be performing at the New Sharon Congregational Church UCC. Mark is a local music teacher as well as guitar instructor. He is married with children and lives in New Sharon, ME. Mark plays an excellent mix of old and new folk, rock, pop and country tunes on his acoustic guitar.
This concert is the 3rd in the “6 Months of Music” Concert Series. The concert will have free admission, though donations are accepted.
The Lissa Schneckenburger concert was a big success. We had about 65 people show up and everyone had a great time. Great music, great people, great venue, who could ask for more?
