We only have 1.5 cords of wood split and stacked…we had originally been planning on 5 total this year. I’m not sure we’ll get there. We have 2-2.5 cords of wood to cut and split left, most of which is pretty well seasoned. So that will get us around 4 cord total like last year…but last year we ran out of wood by mid March. Hopefully I can scrounge some dead standing and/or a bunch of dry mill scraps.
Meanwhile, before I worry about gathering the final cord, I really need to process what we do have to make sure it will be ready to burn this fall.
