I’ve been testing out my typing skills recently. Statistically office workers in the US average 40wpm or greater. I’ve been testing myself with these two online tests:
Typing Speed Estimate A: Single sentence test, calculates average speed from multiple attempts.
TypeOnline Test: Paragraph test, calculates average speed from one test only.
I test faster with the paragraph test (72wpm average) than the single sentence tests (60wpm average).
