Our Little Boy

Diapers, they don’t bother me.
Waking up at 1, 2 or 3.
Tethered to home so I can be
Near the ones I call family.

My son is small
And so am I,
But it seems I’m a giant
In his eyes.

I’m so proud
Of our little man,
He’s growing strong
And soon he’ll be able to stand.

On his own,
They grow up so fast.
Leaving home
To start his own.

But for now I will
Simply enjoy,
All the moments
With our little boy.
