My Sound is...
...a huge part of my life. Music has been a huge part of my life every since I was a little boy. When I was about five years old I would sing with my Grandmother in church, she has always been an inspiration. When I was in 3rd grade we were required to play the violin, in 4th grade I chose to pick up the cello and continued playing it all the way through my senior year of high school. I started singing in the school chorus in 4th grade and continued that through senior year as well with the exception of 8th grade. I also sang in the church choir from around 4th grade through high school. Through the years I have sang as a soprano, alto, tenor, and bass. I currently consider myself a tenor.
When I was a sophomore in high school I bought an electric guitar. I began playing some basic rock rhythms and my brother would play electric bass. I still play guitar now, and have even built my own guitar amps as well as designed and built my own overdrive effects pedal. My favorite guitar would be the Gibson Les Paul. I love humbucker pickups and pretty much use them for everything.
As much as I enjoy singing and playing music, I am also a lover of other's music. My music collection consists of styles ranging from modern alternative rock, christian rock-a-billy, punk, country and most everything in between. My favorite bands include (but are not limited to): Boston, Lit, OK Go, Clay Walker, Avalon and The Cars.
