In my search for American made socks, I happened across Schmidt’s “Workwear” crew socks sold at Tractor Supply. They are a primarily cotton blend (82% cotton, 13% nylon, 4% polyester, 1% spandex) and are super comfortable and warm and of course, made in the USA. Honestly my only complaint is that they only had them in white (not sure if they come in other colors). I paid $7.99 for 3 pair and they are my new favorite socks. I can’t find them on their website so I’m not sure if it is a new product or if they are discontinued. I’m hoping the former rather than the latter.
Of note, I paid a similar price for a single pair of USA made Carhart socks at Reny’s (also nice socks, albeit more expensive).
